Happy Pink Saturday

Today I am sharing a doll that was made to resemble my Grandmother. She is wearing a dress made from her wedding gown. And the dolls hair is made from my Grandmmother's hair. The dish with PINK lid was also hers. I think it was used to hold cosmetics. I use it to hold jewels.

Here are some more digital images you can use for your pleasure. Click and enlarge, then save image to your computer. Thess images do not have backgrounds so they can be used on top of another image.

Last week I went to La Chambre Rose blog for the first time. I enjoyed the visit very much. If you have not been there before, here's the link.

Your post today is lovely and the doll is gorgeous. They don't make them like that anymore, such a shame too. You linked yourself to Nan and she is a wonderful person, has a great shop of gorgeous trims and things. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Hi Jany! Happy Pink Saturday! That doll is amazing. It must be so precious to you knowing it was made to resemble your grandmother, with her hair and a dress made from her wedding dress. Wow. Just lovely.
