Trick or Treat Halloween Annie Doll

I listed Annie today
Sweet little Annie is ready to go Trick or Treating in her witch costume. She is wearing a orange with spider web dress, with an apron made from black skeleton lace. Her orange strip stockings and shoes are painted on. Rusty buckles are added to her shoes.She has thick hair with black lace bows in her pigtails.Her face is painted with stitched eye lashes and mouth.Clothes & accessories are removable. She measures 20" tall without hat.With hat 33"
Her accessories include, a witch hat decorated with fabric, orange & black tinsel, ribbon, crepe paper medallion dusted with orange fine glitter, on top is a vintage cat picture. Black glitter added to its face. Hat ties on Annie's head. A black glitter mask with crepe paper trim, tinsel, bump chenille, feathers and a skull head button. A paper mache' vintage looking pumpkin bucket with a rusty star handle.

Attached is a hangtag withdate and artist signature.

Oh...what a fun swap. We were to make an apron like Lucy would have worn. I remember her in polka dots, so I made this reversible Flirty Apron with PINK flowers and polka dots. With matching flirty gloves and a pot holder.

My New Purchase...

I'm Soooo .... excited! Yesterday I purchased a Cricut Expression. It takes a little practice in perfecting success in its use. So I am up for any suggestions. Also, I would love to know what accessories are a must have.

I also purchased some fabrics for my Halloween projects. I will be posting new projects soon.

Vintage Print Halloween Banner

Halloween is just around the corner, so.... I have begun making some Halloween creations. This banner can be purchased in my.....

This banner I made using vintage images printed on coffee stained canvasfor that aged look. Each panel is accented with fine orange and black glitter

The print is hand stitched on a orange and black polka dot fabric.


The panels are attached to a black and orange tinsel garland. Orange and black pom pom trim sewn on the bottom of each panel.


From banner to banner it measures 3' the tinsel garland is 5' long.


The banner comes with two rusty bottle cap thumb tacks for hanging the banner.

Pink Saturday~ ENJOY!

I plan on going to a friends BBQ and firework show in Boulder, CO.



This is a PINK delphinium growing in one of my greenhouses.
It is planted in a pot and is about 4 feet tall. The delphinium flower is one of my favorite.

My Busy Bee Garden Apron Swap

Look at this beautiful apron I received from my Busy Bee apron swap partner,
"Heidi Devlin " at Foxgloves fabric and folly It has two big pockets and is made long for gathering my veggies. I love the floral fabric and the detail in the back.

All these goodies came with it. Two great smelling candles, handmade thank you cards & garden party napkins and plates.

Pink Saturday June 20th

Look at this cute little PINK BEAR I found at a garage sale last weekend for just $2.00. I couldn't believe someone wanted to get rid of it. Well now she has a new home, in my guest bedroom. She will be loved by whoever comes for a visit.

Happy Pink Saturday!!!

Daughters bathroom redo in progress....I have been busy prepping the walls, So I can paint it today. It has an old yellow tub and sink so I am going for the vintage shabby chic look. I will add more photos as I proceed. Now for PINK Saturday.... I purchased this PINK hook. It is for hanging ones crown. I plan to hang it in the new designed Shabby Chic bathroom.

This is the cutiest little Annie Doll

This is the precious PINK ANNIE DOLL & goodies I received in the Sugar & Spice Annie swap #2, hosted by Aunt Pitty Pat's. She has so many cute little details from her braids & flower bows in her hair to her lace on her socks and pearl bows on her shoes. What a delight it was to find her in my mail today!

Gardening Annie Doll

This is one of the Annie dolls I made this week. She is wearing a sunflower dress with lady bugs & bees. She has been planting sunflowers. The sunflower is one of my new fabric flowers. It stands in a terra cotta pot.

Finished another Apron

This apron I made for the Busy Bee Club. It was a garden apron swap. You could chose a functional garden apron or a fluffy - frilly apron that you could wear at a garden party. My partner chose a frilly apron. She said she doesn't like to get dirty. Her favorite colors are blue & red.
So...... this is what I came up with.

Garland is primitve & whimsey,and a little vintage.
The garland vine is made of wrapped wire, 31 rusty jingle bells and hand painted fabric flowers.It measures approx. 5' long. The pink flowers are 8" to 9" & the yellow are 4" to 5" across.It could be hung over a window,door, cabinet,mirror,
the possibilities are endless.

Flirty Apron Swap

I participated in the Flirty Apron Swap -- A vintage remake. We were to take a vintage linen and remake it into an apron for our partner.I had so much fun making the apron.

Here is my reversible apron.This side with the chickens is a clothes pin style with pockets across the bottom. The middle is a cross stitch from a vintage pillow case along with vintage button and trim.

On this side.... the little chick pocket is from acorner of a vintage table cloth.

While some are busy getting their gardens ready to plant, we are expecting 2 to 3 feet of snow in the next 24 hours. So the only gardening I have been doing is in my greenhouse. I have been busy planting seeds for the last few months. Here is some pics of my progress. Hopefully this is the last of the snow and I will be able to plant them outside soon.

Jack the Rabbit is juggling his springtime bottle caps. He is a fabric sculpture sewn of muslin. He is titghtly stuffed.He is painted and stained with a wax for a primitive aged leather look.There is wire inside his ears so they will bend. He measures 21" tall from the top of his ears to the bottom of the antique sterling silver pedestal candy dish. He is juggling springtime rusty bottle-caps. There is vintage pictures on the fronts of the caps.... ....and vintage flowers on the backs of the caps.
This is a "One of a kind piece"signed and dated by Me.
